Gold Diggers of 1933

I just had the pleasure of watching Gold Diggers of 1933 on Turner Classic Movies last night. I originally decided to watch it because it had one of my favorite female stars in it, Ginger Rogers, and she opened the movie with a bang. The costuming and choreography was absolutely amazing and seemed to be very ahead of its time in filming. Even though Ginger Rogers was not a lead role in it, all of the other actors were simply hilarious. The plot was very thought out and intriguing, while perfectly portraying the Great Depression. I loved this movie and I definitely recommend it  to all of you movie lovers out there.

Unforgetable Women

Stunning yet powerful, on screen and off screen...

"Sure he was great, but don't forget Ginger Rogers did everything he did backwards...and in high heels!"

Love, Love, Love

There are so many things to love about those old time black and white films. The acting, the singing, the dancing, the humor, the dramas, and the glamour. These include all of my favorite parts of a beloved era of new ideas.
